Cause Of Death: Homicide. It was deferred earlier and announced as homicide on August 24, 2009. Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at the UCLA medical centre. Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine Jackson, said he was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest. Michael Jackson collapsed at his rented home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles during the late morning or early afternoon of June 25 PDT. It was reported that Michael Jackson had received an injection of Demerol at 11:30 a.m., though his physician, cardiologist Conrad Murray, has said he neither furnished nor prescribed Michael Jackson with Demerol. Murray was not present at the time of the collapse. He said he fortuitously went to see Michael Jackson on the second floor of Michael Jackson's home, and found he had collapsed. There was a weak pulse in his femoral artery, the doctor said. He began to administer CPR.
